WARSTIC x BILLY REID || ICON PLAYER’S JACKET

Warstic founder Ben Jenkins (@onefastbuffalo) worked directly with long-time friend of Warstic, Billy Reid, to create this iconic jacket. Originally, the jacket was meant to just be a gift for our Warstic Pros. With creative input from Warstic co-owner Jack White, a great designer himself,  we made a garment that combined Billy’s “lived in luxury” with Warstic’s clean design aesthetic. This jacket is versatile, packable, perfect for the in-season ball player. 

When Warstic co-owner Ian Kinsler wore the jacket for some photos, the first words out of his mouth were “this thing is iconic!” And from that, we had a name, and we knew that the Icon Player’s Jacket was something we needed to share with all of #WarstripeNation.

• Made of water resistant material, this black zip-up, light-weight quilted jacket features Warstripes appliquéd across the chest in contrasting black felt fabric and black ribbed trim at the neck, wrists and waist.
• The inside of the jacket shows the attention to detail that Billy Reid is known for, with small panels of Billy’s signature ribbon stripe fabric off-setting the gold quilted interior fabric, as well as a “line-up card” pocket.
• Visible from the inside view, woven into the jacket waistband in gold is Warstic’s signature “BATTLE”, flanked by Warstripes.
• Reminiscent of a Varsity Letter Jacket, a gold chenille Warstic Arrowhead logo patch on the left shoulder breaks up the black on black exterior.
